2007 was a challenging and busy year filled with designing a new strategy, building a new business model, streamlining the portfolio of developments and rightsizing the operating structure. I am pleased to report that all the hard work has paid off and we achieved a major breakthrough when we got the required final township approval so we can now proceed with Lizard Point on the Vaal Dam. Development finance is now being negotiated with financiers.

Our move to new premises in Fourways Johannesburg have enabled us to secure a great sales and marketing facility which will re-energise the sales process for both Gardener Ross Golf & Country Estate and Lizard Point.

We are also currently in the process of seeking a new Black Economic Empowerment partner for the Group and will make an announcement once funding has been secured by the BEE candidate.
